Attaching a song to an email

I don't know where you do your email, like on Yahoo or anything, but all emails should look pretty much the same.
Well, first of all, make sure the song you want to attach into the email is saved into a folder you'll be able to find quick and easily so you don't have to go on a hunt for it.
What me and my friends do on ours (Hot Mail) whenever we want to send songs to eachother, is you go to a new email so you can write out their email adress and everything, and then type whatever you want to type ( if you want to type anything at all, that is ).
Then near the top or somewhere on the page ( you may have to look around ), there'll be a button or a link or something that'll say "ATTACH" on it. And then click that and then click "FILE".
A little window of your documents will come up, so just look for the song you want to upload onto the email, and click it, and then the song should come up onto your email as a link sort of thing.
If you don't have hot mail though, and you're still having trouble finding it and everything, just message me and I'll go to your email site and look around and see if I can find it and tell you how from there.
