Giving Instructions

Question Posted Sunday October 29 2006, 2:26 pm

In my speech class I have to give a 3 minute speech where i INSTRUCT the whole class to do something, here's ome stuff that people have a lready done; breathing excersizes, singing, dancing, yoga, kickboxing, acting, swimming, and so on.. like you show the basics how to do it, and then the whole class has to do it with you a couple of times.. and i REALLY DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO, what can i instruct them on that will be funny, a bit original, yet not too weird..

any ideas?

Additional info, added Monday October 30 2006, 3:37 am:
Sorry I wasn't clear on that..
1: i need something OTHER THAN what's been done already by other people (ie. acting, swimming, singing etc)
2: im not asking anyone to do the homework for me, ill be writing the whole speech on my own, dont worry, all im asking you to do is maybe help me out with ideas for WHAT i can do, you know? i just need help being creative and original :) haha

thank you soo soo much!

If you really want to have something that's original and I'm sure alot of kids like and everything already, is do the acting bit.

Show them the basics of acting and the normal routines everyday actors go through to prepare for plays and auditions and everything and they're facial expressions and whatever it is they do to rehearse.

Here are some sights I found that might help you out with that:

Then, give them a movie every teenager loves like Anchorman, or Napoleon Dynamite and have them try and act it out. So it's both funny and everyone'll get a kick out of it trying to watch the students do the voices and imitate all the really weird and funny scenes.

I hope I helped.
