okay so i had lightish brown hair before. then i died it darkbrown/black in feburary, then died it again in the summer. then my roots started to grow out and i tried dying it back lightish brown. it didnt do anything to my roots. now yesterday i died it againnnn medium brown and my roots are yet again teh same as before. im starting to get really pissed and idn what is going to work on them.

Is light brown your natrual color? If it is, then get a shade darker and keep it in for a little bit longer than you're supposed to. I did that once and at first, my hair was really dark, but then it kept fading and fading until it was my natrual color again.

I'm guessing you dye it yourself. The only way I know to fix that is dye your hair again, but this time, start by dying your roots. Leave it in for 5 to 15 minutes (depending on the dye product), then do the rest of your hair and leave it in for the required amount of time.
