He's on drugs

Question Posted Sunday October 22 2006, 6:17 pm

I really like this friend of mine. We used to have something going on a while ago but that became very awkward shortly afterwards.
Since then we both moved on but I do still have feelings for him. However, he drinks a lot (we're both 16), to the extent where he can drink an entire bottle of vodka in a few seconds and not have any problems. He also smokes a lot of weed, and I suspect he may join in with his friends snorting cocaine and taking ecstasy at weekends.
I really don't know what to do about it! He can be moody at times but I do really like him!

He can be moody because he is probably and alcoholic on top of being an addict. I suggest an anonymous call to his parents, or maybe a note.

Slamming alcohol down like that can kill you. If he tries it with vodka he probably does it with other drinks too.

You need to steer clear. He is in love with the drugs and would make a horrible boyfriend. You won't be number one with him I'm afraid.

As a friend though you really should tell someone. I hope he has someone at home who cares enough to crack down on him good. :)
