Nails

Question Posted Wednesday October 18 2006, 8:45 pm

How do you remove fake acrylic nails? Do you have to go back to the nail place or can you take them off yourself?
Can you just use acetone?

Yes indeed. You soak your fingernails in acetone based polish remover for about 15 minutes. Then you gently try and remove them. You can use a fingernail file on them to help out of they are stubborn.

Then soak your real nails in rubbing alcohol for a few minutes to help remove any leftover goo.

When you are all done use some hand lotion and rub it in around your nails. All that remover stuff dries out your skin and could make them sore. :)
