haha well what i think i shud do and what i want to do are totally different! i think i shud tell them the truth. but i dont want to. i dont really kno how they would react. ive never done anything this drastic before.i dont kno how any parent would react to this. i think if it was me i would be pretty pissed. i dont kno if i shud avoid telling them the truth and clearing his name just to avoid being grounded for a long time ya kno

Since you know it's right to tell them the truth, then maybe you should have a talk with your brother first, because he is involved in this. See how he feels, then if he's ok with it, tell them the truth. They may not trust you for a little while, but explain to them that you lied to them because you didn't know what else to do, and now, after the fact, you realize that was a dumb decision and you want to tell them the truth, and that should make them trust you more because you had a chance to get away with it, but instead you chose to come clean. Let them know that you've learned your lesson, and that you're willing to take your punishment from them. Maybe you could suggest a driving class as your punishment lol. Your brother would know how they would react, which is probably the reason he took the blame for you. They may treat you differently, since you are a girl. I'm not sure if they'd be harder on you or not. Since this is bothering you, just come clean. That way you won't have to worry about this.
