when you go to the homepage,click on under layouts whatever kind of layout you want meaning like from myspace,xanga,livejournal,etc.Click on the layout you want and then the code thats under the layout highlight that whole thing then right click copy and then if you want to put it in lets say myspace go to your about me section and do paste and put it in there..its pretty much the same thing for xanga too just put it in your about me section you should usually put it at the top or the bottom of your page.I hope i could help you :]
