do u need to singn phonenumbers in phonebooks cause when i look in a phonebook some of the people i know are not in there and it's the phonebook from the area they live.

The Phone Company knows your number and they put you in the phone book. If you want your number unlisted (not in the phone book) you just call your phone company and tell them you want your number unlisted; many people have their number unlisted for various reasons.

no, you dont have to be in the phone book...for instance my aunt is a docter so she choose not to be in the phonebook so people won't call her at two in the morning
and i have a friend who put in a whole nother line for sales calls, and thats the number that goes in the phonebook
its your choice whether to be in it or not

Being in the phonebook is your choice some people choose not to have their numbers in there for many reasons and i do believe you sign a paper stating whether you want to be in the phonebook or not.
