Internet Crush

Question Posted Monday October 9 2006, 8:55 pm

Okay, so my friend Lindsey met a guy named Harry online through the infamous myspace. Then she showed him to me and we talk a lot on AIM. Now Lindsey is lesbian so she has no interest in Harry whatsoever. But I'm bi and I like him and he knows that as well as me knowing that he likes me. In a more simpelr form, we both know we like each other. We haven't met in person yet but he lives only 30min away from me. I know, don't give out personal info, mett people you met online. Don't lecture me on that.

I already asked him to come to my homecoming at school but his parents won't allow it. (I can perfectly see well knowing the fact that none of us have met each other in real life. Not the internet) Well, he asked me to go to the movies with him tonight and I really didn't say yes or no. Now, there's a movie theater that is closer which I go to. And then there is a movie theater he goes to which is about 20-30min away from where I live. I really want to go to the movies with him and I probably will in some way or another.

The thing is I'm not going to tell my parents that I'm going to see a movie with a guy I met online. I'm just going to cover it up by saying I'm going to the movies with my friends. Now, Lindsey's mom won't mind driving me to Harry's movie place w/o telling my mom. But the thing is that I dislike Lindsey and that is another LONG story. Also she got back surgery and probably can't go. So that leaves me with no one to drive me to Short Pump. Well, I guess what I'm asking is:

Does anyone have a brilliant idea for which I can use to get to the theater that is farther away from me without my mom suspecting anything? If so how? I guess I could say that I'm going to be going to that mall where the theater is but then I don't know. & please dont suggest "He can come to your theater" because I'm expecting the worst. So does anyone have ideas as to how I can get to his theater w/o having to tell my mom the truth because I know she won't let me go. And yes, there will be involvment of my friends in there. There has to be. Which is another problem since I wanna be alone with Harry and my friends sit in front of us or something so they won't bother me and Harry...Sorry this is so long

I suggest calling one of your friends and explaining the suituation to her and ask her if maybe you can go to the movies alone with harry and she sees a different movie or goes to the mall next door. That way you could cover up with your mom and she wont mind you going with your friend to the movies and your friend's mom could give ya'll the ride. Does that work?
