When i put in a Cd to listen to it asks if i want to play cd or rip music from cd.. what does it mean "rip music"?

Rip music means to get the songs grom your CD to another blank CD.

If you were to rip your CD, it will go into a your computer. So everytime you want to listen to that CD, you won't have to put the CD in because it'll be on your computer.

rip music is something you do to download the music onto something like an i pod so you want to choose play cd

when you rip a cd, it makes it available on your computer, like in your library. you won't have to put the cd in every time you want to listen to it.
