i fell in love with my best friend
the other night i got a call from my best friend and he told me that he is back with my friend and his ex who he swore he'd never go back out with. after we hung up. i began crying. i cried for 2½hrs. yeah i know what you are probably thinking wow! but i love him. i've liked him for three years. i have just been to shy to say anything to him. and today i got up enough nerve to say something. so i called him and got his voicemail. so this is what i said..
"hey **** I know that you are back with her and if that makes you happy, then I'm happy for you. But I need to tell you something. I really like you, and I have for 3 yrs. I have just been so scared of telling you. Scared that I could screw up our friendship or that I would scare you. But I'm not afraid anymore.. I need to let this off my chest. I want you to be happy but you being back with her then i will be happy for you. It's your life and your choice and I know that I have no say in it but I just wanted you to know the truth about how I feel about you. Call me back and if not I completely understand."
so do you think it was right of me to finally tell him? and should i be worried about what he says?

It's always good to tell the ones we love the truth. If you would have never said anything you would have spent the rest of your life wondering what would have happened if I had said something. You don't want to go through life wondering what if. You want to know. It was completely right for you to tell him because in a way you were not being completely honest with him. And friendship is based on honesty. You can't look at the bad because there is good to. You may not get the results you want but you end up getting something better afterwards. Being completely in love with someone means you will never give up on them no matter what the obstacles are. If you are patient and wait you will get what you want the most. If he doesn't call back then there is someone who is even better for you than him you just havent found him yet. And he will regret it when he sees you happy with your true love.
