alright, i'm 14 years old, and a freshman. i play jv/varsity sports - basketball, soccer, and lacrosse. i stay active outside of school by running 2 miles almost daily, playing football with guys, or playing basketball games with friends. i also try very hard to eat right - i absolutely love fruits, salad, and i always drink water. but i just can't get to a normal skinny. i have "pudge" that's obviously visable. my mom's been saying "don't worry you'll thin out as you age." i was in 6th grade when she told me that. my sister is VERRRRRY skinny but she eats like a madman. it's hard in the hs because all those girls are perfect skinny. i don't want to be like anorexic skinny cause thats discusting. i dont know how to make this fat go away. i try really hard, but when i don't see results i tend to stop trying .. help?
I must say, this is a difficult situation. Well about your sister.. I have many people like that too. It's just their body composition so don't really compare yourself to her but it's just the way she was born and not how she treats her body. Even though you are not happy with your look, I gotta say, you should be so proud about how healthy you are. Alright so I am gonna try my best with this.
Did you grow yet? Because if you really didn't, then you will grow into the "pudge". If you did grow, you're probably getting your curves now and that's not really avoidable but staying in shape will help. I'm sorry but I don't know what else to say except to keep exercising the way you're doing. It may just be your body composition. But I know that you'd like a different look.
If you have the "pudge" in the stomach region, I'm guessing?, then try doing more ab exercises at night like crunches or leg lifts. That should flatten it out more.
