k so me and my friends want to be the fanta girls for halloween. thing is, my mom doesnt even want me to get a costume, she thinks I should go through the costume box from yearrs ago. all the suff I wore when i was in like 4th grade. they're all too small and ugly and stuff, like witches and all that corny crap. ok soo basically because of that the costume has to be cheap. but the only one i saw was $200 each! uuh no way lol so does anyone know where i could get a cheaper one?

MelLeDisko answered Thursday October 5 2006, 11:23 pm: Well what you can always do is just go to a nice department store and find shorts and a belt in that color and a top too! You could probably find a halter and tube top, but I'm not sure about the other two and you can find shoes probably, no problem! And if you can't find a specific clothing item in one color, you can always dye it that color.
Also, another thing is you can try and ask your mothers or you guys do it yourselves, find the fabric colors and sew up your outfits!

xObEaChbAbEoX answered Thursday October 5 2006, 10:54 pm: last year some of my friends and i were the fanta girls and we saw taht a whole set of fanta girl outfits were like $400 so we ended up going to a fabric store buying very little fabric and using one safety pin to pin together a short skirt that almost looked like a srong (sp) and buying a cheap matching tank top at like old navy, etc and cutting some of the fabric out of it to show some skin.One of my friends even used an old red table cloth as a skirt.
