Talk to him and don't ignore him or anything at school. Start off by waving to him and small gestures, like smiling,
Or try talknig to him while you're on the phone sometimes. Just bring it up, like, "Hey how come we never talk at school?"
Maybe he's shy or embaressed but he should'nt be .
