I do not know what im doing

ok dude..i dont know how to make my column look cute..i know how to do the background but then the column on the inside box is all gross so what do i do? lol thanks

Well, I wouldn't consider my column CUTE, but to get a nice color on the side box thing a nice color, I just go here:

And just copy and paste the code on that site onto the column settings.
