Question Posted Wednesday September 20 2006, 12:53 am
ok, so i am 15 now and ive never had a boyfriend. and im a girl, obviously.
but anyways, i really like this one kid and he knows and has for like a year now, and ive liked him for about 2 years all together. but overall, i dont know how to flirt without it being awkward and obvious. i feel really wierd when i do.. i mean, i feel obvious. i have so little confidence in myself that i just try to avoid it all together. but it really became clear to me that i have to do something when my friend said that i 'flirt more with girls than guys' and that hurt me.
so basically, what should i do!?
i want SOMETHING to be different this year :/
Additional info, added Wednesday September 20 2006, 12:55 am: i forgot to say that also that i feel like im boring and have nothing to say and i wish i could be more interesting.. like, i can usually play off of other people, but if its one on one theres always an awkward silence which is one thing i HATE. To flirt you just need to be yourself. Laugh at things he says (even if its nots funny), and do minor touching. Maybe when your laughing give his arm a little tap. Normally that can give them a little hint that you like them.
For the second part of your question it is hard for me to say what to talk about. Since you have known him for a while you should have an idea on his interests. When interests have finished then go onto friends or teachers and what he thinks of them. Then hint in by asking what movies he likes and if he would like to go and see one with you.
I really hope things work out for you.
