MS Office Password Recovery Software

Question Posted Saturday September 16 2006, 1:50 pm

3. If someone forgets the administration password (using windows XP SP-II), how can we recover that password to boot the computer completely? Or how can we bypass that password if we forget it accidentally?

You can't recover it, but you can bypass it.

When your computer starts up, hold F8. When given the option, start the computer with "safe mode". If it gives you more than one type of safe mode, it doesn't really matter which one you choose - just pick one.

Eventually your computer will start up and you'll be logged in under the account "Administrator." Go to Start -> Control Panel -> User Accounts. From there you should be able to find where to remove the password. When you're done, restart your computer normally and you should be able to log onto your user account without needing the password you forgot.
