my best friend likes her ex again..
my best friend and her boyfriend just recently broke up mostly because they never talked. She really regrets breaking up with him, but realizes that he's not going to change. She keeps thinking that hes going to change, when they could go for LONG PERIODS OF TIME not talking. I don't think it's healthy for her to continually try and be with this kid because he doesn't do anything different and he's just period a waste of time, and a large chunk of her heart she doesn't need to break anymore. It hurts me to see her in such pain and I've tried talking to her about it and she listens but I think it would be nice for her to have some different options or opinions from other people. Please help her out. Thanks guys.

Well, I would have said that there is no one that can conince her more than her best friend, but... This girl I know that I am friends with says I'm her best friend, I of course have other friends but she's not like me. well, anyways... I've told her time and time again not to talk to his guy that just totally used her. She's white and he's black, I knew it wouldn't work from the start. Well, they ended up "attempting" to have sex but obviously, he's "big" and she's skinny so she doesn't have a wide.. "area". Well anyways, she still talks to him despite what every single one of her friends say. In fact, I think she still likes him. But that's beside the point. You need to tell her everything you said in the statement above. Tell her that more than likely he is cheating on here between the days that he does not talk to her. Believe me, I had a boyfriend like that, come to find out I was one of his other girlfriends. I definitely advice you to confront her about it as often as you can. She definitely needs a friend right now. Try to convince her that she will find someone else out there for her and that hes not worth her time. He's not giving to the relationship and neither should she. Good luck.
