Lying, Two-faced, Catty Girls That Need To Mature.

Question Posted Tuesday September 12 2006, 9:59 pm

One of my friends that likes to start drama told someone that I talked about them. I didn't, but that friend talks about the other person all the time. Even though she made up a lie about me I still haven't told them what she's said because that's just me. I don't like to start crap. Anyway...what can I do to show them that I'm NOT lying and that I didn't talk about them without revealing what my two-faced friend said about them? Please help! I know it's confusing, but try to stay with me.
Thanks a lot!
Katie

ive got a friend and one of her friends does this and it drives me crazy! last year she told some girl that i dont even know that i was talking about her, when really it was her. I just tried to explain to my friends what really happened, and leaving out the details that would make you seem like your starting something. for example, say your friend was talking bad and you were their and you made some comment but it wasnt mean, then she told that girl you were talking about her. just be like no, i was talking to so and so and she brought you up so i said(explanation here) that way, you dont try to replace the blame. if they dont believe you, its not worth you time worrying about. especially if its a friend because your friends should always believe you. good luck!

You said yourself she likes to start drama, I'm sure the other people involved know that too. If they don't, point it out. Make random statements about her always causing drama or something to that effect. If they know how she is, just let it go. That's better then worrying and possibly making it worse. Drama's always gonna be there, especially when girls are involved. Stay away from the girl for a few days and let things settle back down. Then act like you know nothing about it and nothing happened. Most likely, if you don't make it a big deal, she won't either because it's not much fun to get no reaction.
