hey, i am reccomending to you an unsigned rock band from the UK,called "FORBIDDEN LUST" as i think you might like their stuff! they have a song called "need you around", which is about how much their love for someone means to them. its kind of a slow, but kinda rocky song, definitley one of their lighter songs. they also have a song called "anything" which has a deeper meaning which falls under your requested categories.
"Need You Around" can be found on both their myspace and website, however, "Anythihng" has yet to be posted!
in contrast, they have a song, about how they thought they were in love with someone, but who turned out to be an asshole...it's called "fall for a heartbreaker". i think (to me anyways) that this is one of their most powerful and rocky songs they have :)
i'd check em out...they're prety cool!
