what does this mean in german? my friend takes german in school and her teacher said this to me

Ha, I took german for a little while.
I think what you mean is "Hallo wie gehn sie heute?" which basically means, "Hi, how are you today?"
So, if you want to reply, just be like "Gut" for "good" or wunderbar for "wonderful".

it MIGHT mean how was the lake today. or hello are you going to the lake today. Complete guess and it doesn't helped that you didn't spell it right though so that is my GUESS. it im not even 10% percent sure i just looked it up and tried to use some spanish.
