Question Posted Saturday September 9 2006, 5:13 pm
i would really like to lose some weight off my stomach. But my problem is i really like to eat late at night. Icecream has been the food of choice lately. I get uncontrolable cravings for food when im depressed or late at night. What are some foods that are healthy that i can eat later at night instead of icecream? also, what exercises should i do to lose the weight off my stomach? I run alot and i do crunches every now and then but the crunches dont seem to work.

i have the same problem. K the first thing is dont eat 2 hours before you go to bed. its as simple as that. say you are going to bed at 10 eat dinner at 6 have a snack at 7:30 or so. see when you sleep you are digesting food and that makes you lose weight. i realize that you are hungry so eat more. eat more at dinner and eat a large healthy snack. drink lots of water and dont eat ice cream. and dont eat at night. ever. by building up that tolerence to food, you will feel a sence of confidence, and achievement. just learn how to refuse our body food. if you have already eaten a lot during the day your body is being an idiot. you arent going to die if you dont eat ice cream at 11 p.m. jk lots of luck to you!! i also wanted to let you know, frozen yougurt is an alternative to ice cream. Just buy some of those little packages and stick a bunch in the freezer. They are just as good as icecream and they are way less fat!! sorry I cant help more with the excerize part. Just keep doing what youre doing and eventually your wieght will start to change [ angie91's advice column | Ask angie91 A Question ]
