broken up, broken heart
hi
so i JUST (yesturday) broke up with my boyfreind. I had to because i guess it was puppy love and i really didn't love him. So today my mom tells me "oh he's heart broken" and now i feel really bad. I really DON'T want to get back together with him but i feel bad. To make matters worse his best friend asked me out. His best friend is kinda cute but i said i only liked him as a friend, which i do. its all really confuseing!! :( please help i'm a mess. :'(

Oh my goodness. I was in the same position. I was dating James but I broke up with him because, well I don't like being tied down like that and he loved WAY too much PDA so yea. I broke up with him and it kinda got nasty because he said he broke up with me, etc. and then he acted all depressed. Then his friend Harley asked me to the dance and I declined (and the worst part is that I could'nt tell him I just wanted to be friends because his friend ran up asked, got the yes no part and ran off)
But yea. Breaking up . Getting together. Being dumped, all that stuff is the kinks in life. And sadly we do have to deal with it and that is when our guilt decides to wake up >.< But really, if you didn't like him, it was a right choice to breka it off because you dont' want doubts in relationships. Anywhos just go back to being friends with your ex but dont get back together unless you start developing more intense feelings for him. And about his best friend, well he should understnad because you said you only wanted him as a friend..
Really all I'm saying is: Don't get back with your ex unless you develope more intense feelings for him. As for his best friend, give him a chance if you wish but beware that if you do go out with oyur ex's best friend, it might create a little spark b/w them =/ And don't feel like you're the bad one for breaking it off and making your bf "heart broken" he'll get over it soon or eventually. =X
