Do you think I should take a preg test?

Question Posted Thursday September 7 2006, 3:17 pm

I got married last month and am on birth control, the patch actually. However, for the past week or so I have been experiencing occasional nausea, extreme fatigue, lower back pain, bloating, food cravings, and extremely sore breasts. I don't know if these are just symptoms from my birth control or if my bc has failed and I am pregnant. Do you think I should take a pregnancy test? And if so, when should I take it?

If those symptoms persist you should see your doctor.

You could be pregnant (take a home test anytime), or it could be side effects of your birth
control. If it is then you will need to try something different. You don't want to have to put up with all that all the time!
