cancer

Question Posted Saturday September 2 2006, 10:23 pm

I'm 14 and I'm really really really terrified of cancer.

I get sick a lot.
Sometimes I just can't feel some parts of my body. Sometimes I can barely move.

Is there any way to tell if you can possibly have cancer? other than bumps? are their symptoms? and there's no cure for cancer, right?

ah, scary scary stuff

yeah, i agree. cancer is a terrifying thing.

i googled up cancer syptoms, and i got this site:

[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

it let's you know some of the syptoms and some of the types of cancers you could possibly have if you have those syptoms.

i think depending on the type of cancer you have, there is a chance to beat it. whenever it is found, you can go under kemotherapy [sp] and try to do radiation and reduce the size of it until it hopefully all goes away. or some people have surgery done, depending on where it is. my grandmother had some sort of cancer and she went on kemo and fought it and she's doing pretty good now. but other than that, i don't think they've really, truely found a real cure yet for cancer.

i hope i helped.

There are ways to 'cure' cancer, or atleast treat it and or shrink it down.

I know there's radiation, chemotherapy, and even surgery depending on the kind of cancer you have.
