hiii i have really curly hair.
and when i starighten it,it looks good
but somtimes it looks sorta dried out?
what can i do to make it not looking that way
xOxsurfbabexOx answered Wednesday August 30 2006, 6:15 pm: same with me, and so I straighten my hair like every day, BUT I also take showers everyday, so maybe if you take showers everyday it won't look as dried out. OR you might not want to leave the straightener on a peice of hair for more than like 2 seconds, or else split ends could occur. what you do is you just have to "swipe" it through your hair. DON'T TAKE YOUR TIME. and then just brush your hair afterwards [ xOxsurfbabexOx's advice column | Ask xOxsurfbabexOx A Question ]

Once a week, use an intensive hydrating hair mask to put the moisture back into your hair.
If you don't already use conditioner when you wash your hair, use it.
Have a look around the stores near you. They should have them.
Also, after straightening, add on some serum which is for straightening. It makes it straighter longer and look silky smooth! [ thelaura's advice column | Ask thelaura A Question ]
ilovecali answered Wednesday August 30 2006, 5:02 pm: i feel ya girl...well first make sure you have a good straightener preferably ceramic and NO WET TO DRY STAIGHTENERS they fry your hair good to buy one at your local beauty store..also if its been awhile you should cut some of the split ends off if you have any because straightening causes them to split evenmore which is no bueno....you also shouldent wash your hair evryday because it takes away all your hairs natural oils which keep it hydrated...try hot oil treatments and always condition..also in the shower dont rinse off all of you conditioner keep a little in....if your looking to splurge some good products are
BioSilk Silk Therapy Treatment
Aveda light elements smoothing fluid
Kerastase, Serum Oleo Relax
these are all seriums that you can apply after straightening but dont use too much because it can make your hair very greasy=no bueno....apply it from the middle of your hair to the ends putting thee ecxess on the top...but there are chaeper seriums at the drug store...also good to use mosturizing shampoo and conditioner im obsessed with garnier frutics dry or damaged hairshmpoo/conditoner
well i can go on forever about hair hope one of these helps
<3 good luck [ ilovecali's advice column | Ask ilovecali A Question ]
shescreams33 answered Wednesday August 30 2006, 4:53 pm: Dry out as in frizzy or just dried out as in brittle?
Well you can try:
Redken 01 Glass
smoothing serum
(but it's super expensive,
lot at hair cuttery)
or LaBella Lots of curls
# 8 hold *put it when your hair is wet*
(I think you can find that at walmart)
