idk if this is the right category but its similar. okay well i got new shoes and i have really bad blisters from them but they go good with this outfit im wearing to school tomorrow and they are the only shoes i have that would match so wearing different shoes wont help & they are flats so i can't wear socks. i tried putting band-aids on them but they just fall off. so what can i put on my blisters so they wont hurt as bad tomorrow?

Moop answered Tuesday August 29 2006, 10:36 pm: it really depends on the exact style of shoe. sometimes you can get away with nylons or foot undies made for dancers. it also depends on where your blisters are. I usually get one blister on the 4th toe on my right foot, so I can get away with wearing bandaids. you probably have typical blisters in typical places (like the back of your foot). flesh-toned tape works well on the inside of your shoe or moleskin taped to your foot. for AVOIDING blisters (in the future), break in your shoes by wearing a thick pair of wool socks with them for the first day or so. you'll protect your foot from blisters and widen your shoes just enough that your feet won't sit really close the edges.
your very best bet, of course, is to wear a different outfit with different shoes (and socks with bandaids on all of your blisters) tomorrow and wear your new outfit some other day. [ Moop's advice column | Ask Moop A Question ]
