Jake Dilemna Part 2.

Question Posted Monday August 28 2006, 5:15 pm

Hey Ductape n Roses,
I am the girl who asked for advice about that guy Jake. Remember? Well, school started today and I have yet another question for you. So far, I have two classes with him. I acted calm & cool and pretended it wasn't a big deal to me. I felt so proud of myself for being able to do that! Last year, I would act so weird and squirmish whenever he was around. Anyways, during the second class I had with him today he said "Hey Lauren. I saw your sister this summer" with a half-grin on his face. I looked over at him and said "Yeah, I heard" and then went back to my other conversation. So my questions are: Do you think that was a good move on my part? I didn't want to act completley into him like I did last year because I heard that guys like a challenge. Second question: What do you think he meant by saying that to me? Was he trying to just start a conversation or do you think he was kind of teasing me? Thanks so much!

BTW--Just a reminder. My sister gave him my number and told him to call me. That is what he meant by "I saw your sister this summer"

Yep yep. I remember. And I'm happy like woah since you didn't freak when you saw him =D!

1. Yes, good move (I would've done that) And not all guys like challenges. I don't know about this Jake guy unless I talk to him =P. So don't be too challenging and figure out if he does or doesn't like it. =]

2. Don't over think it. If he said that randomly, he might've just wanted to start a conversation =/ or maybe he was confused about you being so cool and normal around him, he might've just wanted to see what you would do if he brought up that embaressing summer =P

Overall, don't ignore him all the time. Give him some attention if he wants from time to time and act like you don't care about him...well not completely not care...=D
