cliche "boy problems" :)
hey! i'm 16 and of course, a female. i know that you probably think that this is lame that i'm asking a complete stranger for help over the internet. i guess you could say that i'm rather desperate for help. (sad, i know!) But what's going to make you laugh your butt off will definitley be my "problem". it may not seem like a big deal too you, but to me, it's a HUGE deal! Ok, there's this guy like i've liked for ever! (i'm talking ever since 3rd grade - i'm in 11th grade now!). He lives right down the street from me and he occassionaly stops over to visit me or I run into him on the streets. Well, he's gorgeous & i was talking to a few of my neighbors that are my age, and they were telling me about how he does the same thing to them that he's doing to me (stopping by, visiting, etc.) 0k, not a big deal! But when one of the girls i was talking to said that she and him were about too hook up a couple times (by that i mean dating), it completley tore me to pieces. I've liked him for so long, and hearing another girl (who by the way, i'm wayyyyyy cuter than!) saying that she was about to date him, was way to much for me to handle at the time. So, do you have any ideas for what i should do? He knows I like him (thanks to my best friend) but, i don't know where to go from there. Any advice? Thanks so much, i know this sounded ridiculous, but like i said, i'm really confused & somewhat hurt by the situation! :)

I'll make it simple - just tell him straight up you like him & want to date him. And see what he says. If he wants to as well, then cool. If he doesn't, what have you lost? Absolutely nothing. It doesn't need to be more complicated than that. :)
