i started 2 bleed a very light like light pink and not enough to even cover a corner of a tampon and it lasted about three days and i had my period about 12 days ago why is this happening

It's called spotting. Some women have it before and/or after their periods.

If you just started getting your period, it will take a few months for your body to reach its normal flow. a little blood now and then is not a big issue.But if this keeps occuring, it would be smart to see a doctor.
