So I'm trying out of my school's show choir. What are some simple songs I can practice and sing for the audition? And how do I even know I'm singing it right, like if I'm in key and such? Thanks!
Additional info, added Tuesday August 15 2006, 7:05 pm: The songs can be from anywhere, like musicals, movie whatever and any genres except rap. And a good selection to pick from. Thanks!. AMAZING song to sing. it showcases a lot of talent and aspects of your voice. it takes some work, but thats showing the people you take pride in what you do & work for what you want. also songs from "Joeseph & The Technicolor Dreamcoat" are fun and good to sing. i was in that play, it was pretty fun. i dont know much about what you like outside of musical theatre, but also you could try picking something you normaly listen to. record yourself singing it with the tape/cd/whatever and see if you like it. of course its not going to sound exactly the same, but you'll see if your notes are right. hope i helped!
