What's an "Emergency Pill"? When do you take it? How much does it cost? Does it have to be prescribed? Why do you take it?

Do you mean an emergency contraception pill?

Its supposed to be taken within the first 72 hours after unprotected intercourse to prevent a pregnancy.

Whether or not you need a prescription varies from country to country. This Wikipedia article has a listing of the rules and debates in various countries.
