should i get surgery??
should i get surgery on my nose....i really hate how its kinda up pointed...and should i get surgery on my ear..cause one of my ears got messed up.. when my dad abused me..when i was little..btw i dont live with him........sum people tell me my ears look fine but i can tell where one is messed up...should i get surgery..im probly gonna get surgery any way i just wanna know what you think?? 14 almost 15 in a month=D/f

ok i can relate here lol...i have a terrible nose and i want surgery, im not sure either......but i think when im older like 18 i will get it done
i know its so hard to deal with it in the meantime, im your same age..15 next month...and i just think you should wait and see if your feelings change in the meantime...surgery is a big deal but if it will honestly make you happier DO IT. but not at the moment, i think its too soon and people might make a big deal at school
think about how people reacted to ashlee simpsons new nosejob....well just think alot about it...........for me it really helped to learn about rhinoplastys...research online, everything about them....something that helped me was watching that show "doctor 90210" on E. idunno if you've seen that? but they show a lot of rhinoplastys and its kind of preparing..
so ya just really research it and i suggest waiting a while, and really thinking it over..but honestly if you want to do the surgery.. DO IT i dont care if people say it looks fine (cause they're usually lying) do it because it's what you want...you wont regret it...but heres a tip...MOST PEOPLE HATE THEIR NEW NOSE YOU ABSOLUTLEY HAVE TO GET A GOOD DOCTOR OR YOU WILL BE SOO UPSET!

Well I have never had surgery...but I think if I felt strongly about something...I would pursue it. But, you are young still, and you may still be going through an awkward phase (and we all go through it), so you may not feel completely comfortable with yourself. Wait until you are 18-19...if you still feel badly about yourself...then you should do it..if that's what you really want. Because truth is...you may obsess over it for a long time. (If you are going to have surgery around 18...i suggest you don't spend the whole time thinking....i need surgery...then you won't really be seeing you...but something you made up).
I have seen a lot of plastic surgery stuff...and it looks mighty painful. So if you do get it..prepare to be in a great deal of pain for weeks after. And just try not to become a person who resorts to plastic surgery for everything..because I have also seen that it is an addicting thing.
So just remember...plastic surgery may have it's upsides...but like anything...it has negative qualities. Think it thoroughly, and whatever you choose to do...will be fine.

I really wouldn't if I were you. Atleast not both places. Surgery can be pretty dangerous. If you do get something done, get your nose. Your ear isn't as big of a deal. So, yeah that what I would do. =) K bye

I'm sure that your nose and ears are much nicer than what you think. Since you are only 14, I think you should wait for a few years to really think about it and asses the risks. Plus, as another person said, plastic surgery is extremely expensive and the recovery is quite painful. Sometimes you do not like the results, sometimes things go wrong. You should research and think for some years. Also, you will need the time to gather money because there are no insurance plans that I know of that cover cosmetic surgery. My answer is that you should consider very carefully the situation and what you would be risking, if you still feel you need to have the sugery in a few years than you might want to do follow through with it. If i were you i would deff wait till you turn 18. because one your only 14 && who would pay for this surgery? Its probly going to be quite abit of money. I would give it a couple years to think about what exactly you would like done. Then when you turn 18 if you still feel like you need to have the surgery then you can do it without parental consent.
but thats what i would do.
According to these wesbites after your growth sprut Around age 14 would be the best time. Sit down with your mom. See what she says. && read these websites.

I also think you should wait until you're at least eighteen, but I also side with you getting it done. I know how distracting it can be when you KNOW something is wrong physically...even if others don't, you do. If it would make you feel better, then go for it. But definately be careful. There are a lot of people who are just out for your money...get a doctor with a good reputation.

I think that you should waite untill your 18.When your this young it might be hard to get a surgen to do the things you want and you are going to need parental consent.If you think that you still will want the surgery when your 18 start saving up now.It will be expensive.
