There's no unlimited text messages to other phones but the same brand. You can ask him if you can get unlimited text messages and ask what the fee will be.

i have verizon & the 500 a mo. too. =) It doesn`t go unlimited to all, but i believe it goes up to either 1500 or 2500. but it`ll cost $25.

Verizon goes up to 1000 messages a month, and if you want unlimited text T-mobile offers it. The whole text messaging/IM/and picture messaging package (comes in altogether) is only 15 dollars. In my opinion I think Verizon's airtime is slightly better compared to T-mobile, but T-mobile offere great plans and promos.

maybe you should think about switching to t-mobile. i LOVE their service. i have a sidekick2 and a pink razr. the prices are pretty cheap and you can get a good deal on their plans. like on my cell, i pay around 60 dollars a month.. but that includes UNLIMITED texting, unlimited internet browsing, free nights and weekends, and 1,500 daytime minutes. verizon has some pretty cool phones, but their service is only good if you have a ton of friends that have verizon too.

I have t-mobile.
i have a Sidekick 2 thats $40 a month for 600 minutes and unlimited text.but its also $20 extra for the email,IM,internet and other junk so i guess it depends what kind of phone you have.

they also have really good coverage.
you can do a personal coverage check here
