14/f. i babysit A LOT for my neighbors. but whenever i babysit them i always eat sooo much. even if i'm not hungry i eat. like if i have to feed the kids, i'll eat. and even if i'm not feeding the kids and they are watching tv i will go into the kitchen and eat. whatever i eat is always junk food. like cookies, chips, candy, etc. what can i do to take my mind off of eating while i'm there? i've tried bringing gum with me to chew when i think about eating, but that doesn't work. HELP!

If you really have to eat bring some home made trail mix with healthy stuff in it and like I mentioned before only bring a couple of home food. And if you find yourself being tempted then write a note saying something like "NO! No more eating ______(insert name) and stick it on your hand or somewhere where you will see it when you try to get something....well...

If the kids are busy or in bed or something, bring a book or homework or paper and a pencil to draw/write, this helps you keep busy and your mind off eating! Also, try bringing your own food and make it healthy stuff or if you REALLY feel you need to eat from there, eat healthy stuff. I hope this has helped!
