Vikki27 answered Friday August 11 2006, 1:09 pm: There is a possibility that they haven't contacted you because they are waiting for the cheque to clear, which in most cases can take p to 10 working days.
However, I would recommend that if you haven't heard anything further in a week's time, you need to report it to the police and see if anything can be done to chase the matter up. If there is nothing much that they can do then I would recommend the same as the previous person. Get a Solicitor involed. They may turn around and say that if you didn't sign an agreement with them, there is little they can do but on the other hand, they may able to put the fear of God in them, so to speak, and threaten them with court action if they refuse to deliver the goods.
