im 17 and have had my period since age 11. I use tampons but i was wondering if anyone out there used Instead softcups. And if they work better then tampons.
also don't give me the website. I am looking at it.

Maybe give some free advice about: Health? xomegaroni answered Tuesday August 8 2006, 1:28 pm: i'm not too sure about the Instead Softcups. i've heard people who had them & some liked them & some didn't. i read the website too & it did say it takes a bit of getting used to. since you said you use tampons already, it might not be too much of a difference, only that its a cup. i was reading about it & it said "it doesnt absorb bleeding like a tampon". which means, it stops it from leaving your body for a bit. now that doesn't sound great to me. it's suppose to be absorbed by something. not left in there. theres a low risk of tss, but i wouldn't want something that wouldn't absorb it, but that's up to you. it sounds pretty safe. i don't know of anyone who had too much trouble with it. if you still have questions, you could ask your gyno.

It doesnt seem like theres any negative thing abotu them.. and you acualy get to go longer without worrying about your period! Sound sgood to me! haha. well i cant give you personal experinces because honestly ive never even heard of it.. just please make sure you read the warnings before you purchase and use.
