How to make a link with a different name This is not a hard computer questions, so please at least read this before you give up on me.
OK, so I need to make a link that has different text than where it leads to. Like, if the link went to www.google.com, it would say Google, and you could click on the word Google and it would lead you to www.google.com.
I figured out how to do this on HTML for MySpace or something, but I need it in BBCode, like for forums, like Proboards. I've seen it done before.
Any help would be appreciated. =]

There's usually two ways, some boards use one, some the other, some neither. Try one of these...
[url="www.google.com"]Google[/url]
[url=www.google.com]Google[/url] ]
Like html?
Or linking?
Well what I usually do for that
is I go on myspace into a blog,
and I type the word, example 'Google'
or paste a picture then highlight it
and link it to a site,
and then check the box in the corner to see the html and i copy and paste that where I want it.
Did i answer this correctly? ]
