You should SOOO NOT like him if he hits you and shoves you. He doesnt sound like a good guy to me. Id find someone else. There is alot of guys out there and you should tell him that you cant do this anymore, and tell him you know, i thought u were a good guy and all, but what you do to me is disrespectful.
