i have a question about perms and swimming

i am getting a perm and i was wondering if i should go swimming with a swimming cap on?! and if so, do u have any suggestions about which caps i should get..like brand names and stuff! email me back at sweetjamie94@hotmail.com! thanks!

If you are just getting the perm I dont suggest you go swimming. The water can ruin the perm, and can react negative with the chemicals in your hair from the perm. You could use a swim cap but they never work that well, water still tends to seep in through the sides (well in my case). Try waiting a few weeks after you've had the perm to go in the water. Take Care :)
