readjusting?

Question Posted Friday July 28 2006, 12:51 am

I know this is kind of a weird question but it's bugging me. Why do guys readjust themselves? Is it normal to feel the urge to often? My boyfriend does it... kind of a lot & isn't very discreet about it. I don't mind it but sometimes it looks like he's itching or grabbing himself. can someone please enlighten me? thank you!

Sometimes guys get random boners at weird parts of the day, and the penis sticks straight up out of the pants. When a guy rearranges themselves, they are making the boner less obvious. Most guys don't really care about being discreet. It's probably the last thing on their minds. That's just how they are.

Because we can!

But really, it's because of three things: sweat, hair, and erections.

Sweat and hair causes itching, and there's plenty of both going on down there. It doesn't help that men's fashions dictate that the package be kept in very close proximity to the body. If we all wore kilts, there would probably be a lot less adjusting going on.

Then there's the matter of spontaneuous stiffys, which happen on average about three or four times a day for adults, and a lot more often in teenagers. Naturally, an erection will move things around, and more often than not one does not end up in a comfortable position. So, there is a need to shift things into a better spot. That shifting naturally stimulates a few nerve endings, and most guys will take a moment to move things around a little more than might be strictly necessary, perhaps even without realizing it.

Most men try to be a little more discrete about it than your boyfriend, though. If your relationship is on the level where you can comfortably do so, you might mention it to him, because he may not realize he's being quite so public. If he's seriously itching a lot, he might want to consider a change in laundry detergents or soap; he may have a mild allergy or be suffering from dry skin. He might also think about switching from boxers to tighty-whities, or vice versa.

All men adjust themselves. Think about it this way. When your wearing a bra and it was to shift or the wire stab you somewhere then you would fix it. Well men sweat, they also have exterior organs that move, rub, chaff, and are exposed to the clothing, the air and the detergents that they use to wash thier clothes. Therefore they need to rearrange thier goods to get relief from irritaion. kinda like if you were to wear really tight underwear that rubbed against you and rode up your backside. You would have the urge to fix it. It's just naturall for a guy to want to be comfortable. hell it's naturall for anyone to want to be comfortable
