Singing in front of people?
I know that I can sing really well when no one's around, but I'm too shy to sing like that when someone is listening. How do I get over this? (PS, I recorded myself, so I know that I can sing well. I don't even sing like that in choir.)

if i were you i would be scared outa my mind to be in a any crowd at all. so congrats to u that u can do that to begin with. but at times wen i do have to get on stage and do something i always act like i'm at home with my hair brush in my hands and my stuff animals as my audience! and i know thats a little childish so if you dont wanna do that wen you do sing with a large audience pretend that they are all in there underwear it will make you laugh and you will for get about being scared. also dont look at the audiene look at the back wall of where ever you are performing! it looks like your looking at the audience but your really not. i hope this helps good luck!!

what i used to do was sing funny on purpose in front of my friends then when i sing 4 recitals i pretend i am singing to my friends only i sing better.

if you have posters up on your wall then sing in front of them also try family members

i suggest you have someone you are really close to or you feel really close to to be your audiance...if you cant do it at first turn the lights off and close your eyes and pretend noone is there then eventually you can keep adding more people to your audiance!!

Sometimes in life you have to take chances so why don't you ask one of your friends over to sing in front of them or maybe a couple times a week so it would build up your confidents and then you might be ready to sing in front of crowd..and if you know how to sing thats a gift SHARE IT!

when you sing look over everyone watching so if your mom looks like shes gonna cry you don't get embarassed or if your friends or siblings are watching they won't make you mess up and laugh or something.
