Well from the last question about my hair I need a shampoo and conditioner that will throw away all the frizziness and dryness without it being expensive but all shampoos and conditioners work the same on my hair but they work different on other peoples hair. I need major help! Thanx
angel3102 answered Friday July 28 2006, 1:11 am: You should try Garnier Frustis. The sleek and shine line. it is great. it is built with extra protien and oils to defrizz and strengthen your hair. Just shampoo then condition. After you towel dry your hair add the sllek and shine serum to you hair working from the roots down. a little goes a long way so don't over do it. then simply pick out your hair first from root to tip. Then you can comb or brush. They also have a 3 min deep conditioner that you should use like once a week. Just remember that 90% of frizzy hair is caused because people shampoo and condition the hair every day and that dries it out so only wash your hair every other day. You can still use the serum every day. Try this and you should have great results. and before i forgett you should change your shampoo every 2 weeks. From the Garnier to something like pantien and then swich back. or you'll get to much of one thing this will also dry out your hair. Let me know how it works for you! clarayow answered Friday July 28 2006, 12:29 am: Silken all the way! It doesnt make your hair dry after you shampoo , unlike other brands that I use.
I use silken shampoo and dove conditioner. Haha, this combi may sound wierd but it works wonders for me. It takes away frizziness and gives my hair lustre. You can choose silken shampoo and conditioner though.
To help reduce dryness, dun let the shampoo stay on your hair for too long and wash it off as soon as you're done scrubbing your hair. Cos it may absorb excess sebum (hair oil) and cause your hair to be drier. Let the conditioner stay on for a longer period of time. 5 minutes will be good. Dun scrub too hard or wash for too long when rinsing off the conditioner. If not, you'll wash off the silky smooth feel that the conditioner gives. Just wash off the conditioner will do.
Try not to blow dry your hair. Let it air dry. Apply moisturiser to your hair after it's dry. Try to apply moisturiser straight after your hair's dry and dun wait for a few hours later cos your hair absorbs stuff at a faster rate when its clean and free of dust and dirt.
You can try serum too. Just get products that promises to moisturise your hair. They'll help in reducing frizziness as well.

takemy_advice answered Thursday July 27 2006, 3:17 pm: SunSilk just introduced a new line of shampoos that target each individual hair scare. Check your local drugstore and pick a bottle up. John Frieda products really work, but they tend to run on the expensive side. For something cheaper, Pantene products might help. Good luck! shannonbond answered Thursday July 27 2006, 2:45 pm: Well, conditioners/shampoos don't really take away frizziness. For that you'd have to get a specific hair product used for frizz control, Frizz Ease by John Freida, and Garnier Fructisse Smoothing Milk work so so so good! They're both under 6 dollars, so I'd try at least one of them. You rub the stuff through your hair when you're done showering and it makes allll the frizzies go away, haha & your hair gets very soft. As for shampoo/conditioners for the dryness..I would try V05. My friend has very curly, dry hair and she uses V05 Shampoo & Conditioner. They work great for her, it makes her hair look much healthier, with more volume & shine. :] [ shannonbond's advice column | Ask shannonbond A Question ]
