Question Posted Wednesday July 26 2006, 11:05 am

Ok, so my friend told me that her cousin told her that she was that she was anorexic and that she smokes and drinks. I'm afraid of her cousin who happens to be in my grade and was my bff hurting herself or dying. What should I do?

Here is a link from a website about anorexia. This my be helpful to you in how you can help her.
Anorexia is a serious disease. I don't know much about it to give you advice other than your friend needs help if she is anorexic, because, yes, it will kill her if she isn't treated. Her body needs nourishment to live.
But just remember, just like the drinking and smoking, she has to want to get help to get better. Be supportive to her, because she needs you.
