whenever I go to the carribean for a few days, I spend a lot of time in the sun without sunscreen. i would usually get a tan but then the tan would turn into a sunburn. about a week after i leave, my skin starts to peel. would putting on sunscreen keep my skin the same way, or give me the tan without the sunburn/peeling. thanks
PunkieFreak4690 answered Monday July 24 2006, 4:08 pm: To get a tan without the big risk of getting sunburnt, use sunscreen that contains Cocoa Butter in it. It allows your skin to darken, as you are getting UV protection. However, a lot of them have low UV protection like SPF 5, 10, or 15. But ones with Cocoa Butter works great.
