Computer trouble..

Question Posted Monday July 24 2006, 1:18 am

I don't know what I did, but every time I go on a website I get a little pop up of a Content Advisor. I have to type in a password if I want to go on a website. Any website. I know the password but it messes up everything. I don't know how to get rid of it. I went on My Computer and tried to remove it but nothing is there. I don't know how I got it but my question is, does anyone know how to get rid of it?? Please & thank you.

It sounds like your content filters are turned on.

In Internet Explorer, open up the "Tools" menu at the top of the window.

Select "Internet Options..."

On the control window that comes up, click the "Content" tab.

You should be able to adjust all your settings from there.
