Is it possible to lose 3 pounds in one day? I totally pigged out last night at a sleepover and when I came home and weighed myself I was 101. But I felt self concious because I have to be in a bikini in front of a guy tomorrow so I didnt eat all today and I excercised. Now the scale says Im 98.5 and I am wearing the same thing I was when I weighed 101 - a bikini. Is that possible or is the scale wrong??
xomegaroni answered Wednesday July 19 2006, 8:02 pm: it is possible, but i wouldn't quite think of it as losing weight. when you pig out & eat a lot of food, it stays in your body longer, meaning you'll be heavier when you way yourself. when you eat less & exercise, you weigh less. soo think of it this way- eat more, weigh more, eat less, weigh less. none of these are your actual weight & 98-101 lbs is not a lot. your actual weight is when you get up in the morning, go to the bathroom & weigh yourself right away. other than that it's juss because you've been eating & what not. you should be eating a lot during the day (at least 3 meals) & that's why you weigh more. plus, juss because you weigh 101 lbs one day, doesn't mean you look 101 lbs. 98.5 lbs looks the same as 101 lbs.
