Question Posted Wednesday July 19 2006, 3:14 am

Can some give me some tips on improving firefox?
Also, how can I get rid of the pop ups that have the "stop script" button?
Thanks

you can change some settings if you type in about:config on the adress bar, and press enter, here are some things to alter

nglayout.initialpaint.delay
set value to 0
(The amount of time the browser waits to act on info to recieve)

browser.urlbar.autoFill
set to true
(makes a list of alike urls when you type in the adress bar)

network.http.pipelining
set to true
(enables setting network.http.pipelining.maxrequests to 100)

network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
Change it to 100, but first you must change
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests to true
(makes Firefox faster)

browser.tabs.showSingleWindowModePrefs
Make true
(enables advance tools/options in tools/options page)

network.http.proxy.pipelining
set to true
{also, making things faster
