okay heres the thing
about 6 weeks ago i was having really bad cramping, pains in my breast, soar all over, felt really sick, then i started my period, ive been on my period for 6 years or so now, and never felt that kinda pain at all, for the last 6 week s though ive been on my period and it hasnt stopped, and the whole 6 weeks ive been having blood clots,NOW 6 weeks later i feel soo tired, and even sicker, everytime i stand up i feel like im going to faint, and i feel really dizzy and cramping. i just start crying for no reason, and i feel really stressed out, and ive called 5 differnt gynocologist's to see and the soonest i can get in is middle of august, Should i maybe go to the hospital? or just wait, i really dont know what to do.
Nallie answered Saturday July 15 2006, 11:47 pm: Go to your family Dr or an urgent care clinic. You shouldn't wait until the middle of August for an appointment. If you have been bleeding for 6 weeks you have probably lost so much blood you might be anemic. As far of the cause of the prolonged bleeding there is no way to determine that without a medical exam. GC07 answered Saturday July 15 2006, 11:44 pm: If your period has been going on for 6 weeks straight and you are having serious affects - I would not only schedule the earliest appointment with a gynocologist (and make sure you tell them you would like to speak directly to a nurse because it is an emergency - I work at a doctor's office so I know this can be done and that you can get an appointment asap like that day or the next usually) I would also go to the E.R. This is a serious problem that should be dealt with as soon as you can possibly can - You might have ripped something or something in your body may be seriously wrong. So please go and get help as soon as possible. Don't freak out, I'm sorry if I'm scaring you but trust me, the best things you can do right now is 1. Go to help asap and 2. Stay calm. You might just have a really heavy period, they might just prescribe you medicine or some kind of pregnancy pill to help reduce your period, or like I have said before, this might be really serious, either way you need to go and get help asap. Let them know it's an emergency. I hope I helped and let me know how it goes! I hope everything is okay! Good luck! -GC07 [ GC07's advice column | Ask GC07 A Question ]
