ok, i bleached my hair about 3 months ago cuz it was black and i didn't want it that color anymore. it won't take color right anymore. i've tried to dye it 2 times[brown each time] and it keeps turning blonde after a few weeks. i don't want to be blonde. is there anyway that i can dye it and it will stick?
THE COLOR FADED REALLY FAST: This is often because of prelightening the hair before dying it, and is especially problematic for reds and bright 'fun colours'. You sometimes find that semi-permanents hold best on bleached hair, and using a shampoo especially for coloured hair can help to retain the dye. As for fixing the fade, dye it again, but if you must use a permanent, make sure you condition your hair well afterwards and continue to do so.
And this Website just read the Answer that someone put:
smartgirl321 answered Saturday July 15 2006, 9:44 am: you need to strip the colors out of your hair. you can go to a salon or buy one to do yourself by clairol. my mom and i did it and its easy. after you strip your hair, the color will be easier to handle. The colors you put in it will also show upthe right shade and won't fade as much and as fast. hope it helps.
